It's hard to believe that the year is almost over and I've managed to complete my reading challenge to read 22 books before the year runs out. It's been a great journey filled with ups and downs, but I'm proud to say that I've stuck to my goal and made it to the end.
One of my favorite books that I read during this challenge was "It Ends with Us" by Colleen Hoover. This heart-wrenching novel tells the story of Lily, a young woman who falls in love with a man who is abusive and controlling. The novel delves into the complexities of love and abuse, and teaches us that sometimes the person we love the most can be the person who hurts us the most.
Another book that I enjoyed during this challenge was "Verity" by Colleen Hoover. This psychological thriller follows the story of Lowen, a struggling writer who is hired by a wealthy man to complete a memoir written by his wife, Verity. As Lowen delves deeper into Verity's life, she begins to uncover dark secrets and realizes that everything is not as it seems.
Lastly, I have to mention "One of Us is Lying" by Karen M. McManus. This mystery novel follows the story of five high school students who are sent to detention and one of them ends up dead. The novel is a thrilling ride as the remaining four students try to uncover the truth behind the death and clear their names.
Overall, I'm really glad that I decided to take on this reading challenge and I'm excited to see what the new year brings. I've discovered so many new authors and genres that I never would have explored otherwise, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to expand my reading horizons. Here's to many more reading challenges in the future!
